Ancast Industries Ltd. produce quality ferrous castings with special

is the basis of the commitment they have made to their customers
since 1974.

The
Challenge:
As
part of their philosophy of "adopting new technology and committing
the company to continuous improvement in all aspects
"
the Human Resources department needed to find a more viable solution
to the mounting costs associated with outsourcing payroll for their
growing employee base. Their use of a payroll outsourcer was no
longer providing a cost effective method of processing payroll,
nor was the service able to provide a timely solution to various
problems that would arise with a payroll of their size.
They required
a tool that would provide flexibility for their customized payroll
and HR functions, comprehensive reporting, reliable auditing capabilities
and excellent usability. As the company was growing in size (more
than 200 employees as of 2004), Ancast needed to find a software
solution that would meet their unique payroll requirements.
The
CanPay Solution:
After
researching a number of products and services, they decided on a
CanPay software solution. They would implement GrandMaster
Suite Payroll along with the Electronic
Funds Transfer module for simple and effective cheque processing.
GrandMaster
Suite is the perfect solution for all their needs, from customized
reporting when they need it to timely payroll processing with no
more hassles. Unlike their previous outsourcing service, Ancast
now has complete flexibility in terms of processing times and the
program's full-feature set geared to support the company's growing
needs.
"The
switch to CanPay not only saved us money but gave us complete
control of our payroll along with the ability to run numerous
manpower reports, generated through the in-house payroll system.
We were also impressed with the ease of implementation along with
the quick transformability to CanPay from our old system.
Yes, we saved
nearly $12,000 in the first year alone, but best of all, we can
now react to changes as they happen".
