eNETPayroll and the Google Chrome Browser

eNETPayroll uses the Java plugin for web browsers that works in association with NPAPI's cross platform plugin architecture. Though NPAPI has long been supported by all major web browsers, Google has announced official plans to remove NPAPI support from Chrome in September 2015 (Chrome 45).

Since eNETPayroll will be affected for Chrome users only (as will many other popular NPAPI-based plugins such as Silverlight, Java, Facebook Video, etc.), CanPay recommends that your company begin considering alternative browsers as soon as possible. We recommend Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari as longer-term options. eNETPayroll works great in these browsers and offers the same secure, effective payroll processing features you've come to know and expect.

If Google has a change of plans, or if another suitable Chrome-based solution is found, we will post it on our website. Until then, please make the necessary browser change before September 2015 in order to continue enjoying the benefits of eNETPayroll.
